Upscale Bathroom Remodeling Ideas

Before you start your bathroom remodel, get inspired by some of the ways we think you could customize your bathroom that you may not have thought of.

Heated Floors

Start from the ground up. Nobody wants to step out from a nice warm bath onto a cold floor. If you are redoing your floors, consider radiant floor heating. Heated floors keep your tile, stone, or engineered wood at the perfect temperature for those cold days. This way your feet always stay cozy in or out of your slippers.

Heated Towel Rack

Why stop at heating the floors? A heated towel rack can keep your towels nice and toasty, especially during the winter months and adds a nice touch of sophistication to your newly remodeled bathroom.

h2>The Ultimate Shower

There are so many ways you can customize a shower with different textures, colored tiles, and hardware, but even with the thousands of choices, these few things can and should be added no matter your taste. If you are creating a shower and bath separate, adding in a built-in bench can make a shower a more comfortable place to be by not only providing space for your products but for you as well. But products shouldn’t be on that bench, and that’s why shower niches are an important addition. Big or small, they truly bring the custom built-in feel.

As far as hardware, choosing a multifunctional shower head is the way to go. The Delta 2-in-1 in2ition shower head is amazing. It combines the shower head and hand shower into one simple piece. It’s minimal, easy to use and it comes in three finishes (bronze, chrome, and stainless). If you want it to feel more like a spa, try a rain showerhead with a full body spray. It truly is perfect for that luxury feel.

Shower and Bath Combo

If you really want a customized space, combine your shower and bath into one space. Create a space within a space by changing the tile when you hit the shower/bath area. Add in a glass wall to separate the rest of the bathroom from your shower/bath and install your gorgeous new soaking tub, leaving enough space for the open shower. Now that’s some serious spa vibes.

Built-in Vanity

Lastly, creating a built-in custom double vanity can really bring everything together and create the storage space you need. If you don’t have a linen closet, add in a tall built-in cupboard to hold towels and extra products, that way everything has its place.
