While a garage provides needed vehicle storage space, it’s also a smart way to extend your living and entertaining spaces. Transforming a garage into a multi-use space is a trend on the rise as homeowners seek flexibility and more storage, according to the National Association of REALTORS®

A new or remodeled garage could accommodate a multitude of uses, including:

  • A guest suite
  • In-law quarters
  • Hobby space
  • Outdoor entertaining hub

CCG’s newest project, a garage addition in Zionsville, combined a garage with living area to create a unique space to meet the homeowner’s needs.

Project Details

CCG designed this two-car garage project with function in mind. The light-filled space above the garage contains a living area, full wet bar, and full bathroom.

It provides a relaxing atmosphere for the homeowner’s bourbon and cigar lounge, and doubles as a private getaway for their extended family and grandchildren.

In the living area, built-in bookcases made of hickory and stained cement provide useful storage space in warm tones. The custom cabinetry even includes a hidden bookcase door.

The living space also features a wet bar with a sink, and a seating area with additional custom shelving and storage.

Natural wood tones continue in the full bathroom cabinetry. The shower showcases tumbled hex marble mosaic tile on the floor, marble-look porcelain tile on the wall, and black fixtures.

Project Selections

Selections for this garage addition include:

  • Exterior finishes in Hardie® Panel siding
  • Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing package
  • Pella windows
  • Quartz countertops
  • Provenza MaxCore luxury vinyl plank in Sweet Talker
  • Shower wall tile: Marmo Calacatta gold-polished porcelain tile, 12” by 24” from the Tile Shop

Top Home Remodeling Projects with the Highest Cost Recovery https://ccg-indy.com/2026/05/08/top-home-remodeling-projects-with-the-highest-cost-recovery/ Fri, 08 May 2026 17:07:38 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3804 more »]]> As home remodeling demands trend upward, knowing which add-on projects provide the highest cost recovery ensures you get the most out of your investment.

While kitchen upgrades and bathroom renovations give homeowners the highest satisfaction, additional project items contribute to maximum cost recovery, according to the National Association of Realtors® and National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s 2025 Remodeling Impact Report.

Source: National Association of Realtors® and National Association of the Remodeling Industry

If you’re ready to remodel, consider these top cost recovery add-ons to your home remodeling project.

Entryway Door

A new steel front door tops the list, with cost recovery at 100%. Those who install a new fiberglass front door see a cost recovery of 80%. A front door swap is a quick add-on project that improves the overall look and security of your home.

Other benefits? Both steel and fiberglass exterior doors are low maintenance and improve a home’s energy efficiency with superior insulation and sealing. If you love the look of wood but want to upgrade, both steel and fiberglass doors come in a variety of styles and finishes.

Closet Renovation

A closet renovation is a great add-on to a larger remodeling project, and features an 83% cost recovery. Typically seen in a primary bedroom remodel, this renovation increases closet space and improves functionality.

Adding convenient racks, shelves, and drawers improves the look of your closet and increases storage. Your style dictates lighting choices, such as task lighting or chandeliers. Popular closet seating choices include chairs, benches, or ottomans.

New Windows

A kitchen or bath remodel is a great time to replace old windows. New vinyl windows have a 74% percent cost recovery, while new wood windows have a 71% cost recovery.

Not only does it improve the look of your home, but it also significantly improves your home’s energy costs and reduces traffic noise. Vinyl windows are durable and low maintenance. Those who opt for double-hung windows appreciate improved ventilation and easier access for window cleaning.

Basement or Attic Conversion

Converting a basement or attic to usable living space is a stand-alone remodeling project that increases the square footage and value of your home. A basement remodel has a 71% cost recovery, while the cost recovery for an attic conversion is 67%.

A basement or attic remodel helps you enjoy your home even more and provides more space for what you need. You can transform this area into a living space/kitchenette combo, entertainment area, or a place for your favorite hobby. Need more ideas? Check out our blog post on finished basement ideas.

Kitchen Renovation

A kitchen renovation ranks near the top of homeowner satisfaction and also features a 60% cost recovery. As one of the main spaces in your home, it’s not hard to see why so many homeowners opt for a kitchen upgrade.

Depending on what you need, this is the time to improve your kitchen layout, add seating, increase storage, update finishes, and install new appliances. Kitchen remodels transform dated or humdrum rooms into beautiful, functional spaces that become the focal point of your home.

Remodeling for Efficiency: Cost-Saving Projects to Boost Home Value https://ccg-indy.com/2026/04/29/remodeling-for-efficiency-cost-saving-projects-to-boost-home-value/ Wed, 29 Apr 2026 17:31:17 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3788 more »]]> If you want to get the most out of your next remodel, incorporate energy-efficient features to gain energy savings and add value to your home.

Depending on the improvement project, homeowners can reduce the energy usage in their home by as much as 50%, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. That adds up to significant energy savings, and if the project qualifies for a tax credit, you could save even more.

If you prioritize projects that increase your home’s value, more than half of real estate professionals say highlighting sustainable features adds to home value, according to the National Association of REALTORS®

Not sure where to start? Consider one (or more) of these energy-efficient projects in your next remodel.

Window and Door Replacement

New exterior doors and windows not only improve the look of your home, but also cut down on energy loss. Replacing drafty windows with Energy Star-certified windows lowers energy bills by an average of 12 percent. Other benefits of replacing old with new include longer-lasting materials, noise reduction, and accessible designs for easier window cleaning.

Energy-Saving Appliances

Choosing high-end appliances that also save on energy costs is a smart move for kitchen or laundry room remodels. Energy-efficient refrigerators save on cooling costs, while efficient dishwashers reduce water usage. Consider premium-yet-efficient stove and oven options, such as induction cooktops or convection ovens. For the laundry room, energy-saving washers and dryers improve performance and offer more load options.

Water-Saving Fixtures

Make a statement with kitchen or bathroom fixtures that reduce water consumption yet still provide optimal performance. These fixtures can be found in almost any style, from traditional two-handle faucets to modern, high-arc faucets. In the kitchen, handy features such as a pull-out sprayer or flexible spray modes help you target tasks and reduce water waste.

Sealing and Insulation

While reducing air leaks and adding attic insulation may not be the first thing you’d think of during a remodel, it makes a huge impact in your home (and utility bills). Simply sealing cracks to reduce drafts can result in 30% in annual energy savings. Insulation lowers heating and cooling costs and ensures your home stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

Eco-Friendly Materials

Choose materials with a high style factor and low environmental impact. Consider bamboo, concrete alternatives, or cork for flooring. For other style choices, you may want to opt for recycled steel or glass, or use unique, salvaged items. Sustainable options reduce environmental impact, provide durability, and make a design statement.

LED Lighting

Swap out dated lighting with LED lighting, which uses 75% less energy and lasts 25 times longer than incandescent lighting. The choices are limitless, from sleek recessed lighting to attention-grabbing chandeliers. Many LED lights offer dimmable options, providing flexibility in work or entertaining spaces. Pair this lighting with smart technology for automation and even greater energy savings.

Double-Duty Remodels: Add Function with Multipurpose Rooms https://ccg-indy.com/2026/02/19/double-duty-remodels/ Thu, 19 Feb 2026 16:07:06 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3714 Do you underuse rooms in your home, or dream of opening up more space? As life changes, our homes may need to change, too.

Creating multipurpose rooms helps you get the most out of your space while providing flexibility for the future. This no-rules approach places function as top priority, and results in an individualistic design that meets your specific needs.

If you want more out of your home remodel but aren’t sure where to start, consider these combination room ideas that help you utilize every square inch.

Kitchen + Lounge

Your kitchen already is the heart of your home, so why not make it more comfortable? Built-in seating with cozy cushions provides the perfect place to relax with coffee and orange juice in the morning or craft beer and wine in the evening. If you’ve got the space, consider a full-blown seating area that’s perfect for entertaining with couches, chairs, and side tables.

Dining Room + Office

If you walk by your dining room more than using it, consider placing a home office in this flex space. By adding tall cabinets or bookcases, you can create a seamless desk nook that blends in with the surroundings. Or, transform one wall into a student workstation with built-in cabinets and a slim table. Fold-up desktops or sliding cabinet doors can easily hide laptops and paperwork for a clean look. Other great office combo options include using a bedroom with a hideaway Murphy bed, spare room, or even the kitchen.

Laundry + Pet Utility Room

Keep clutter under control with a laundry room that doubles as a pet utility room. A laundry room is the ideal space to add a pet washing station, whether it’s a built-in sink or tiled shower nook. It’s also a great place for pet feeding stations or pet storage. For cat owners, a built-in cabinet with an opening for litter boxes keeps a messy necessity out of sight.

Guest Bedroom + Hobby Area

If your guest room doesn’t get much use, consider transforming this space for your favorite activities. This could include a fitness or meditation area, music room, craft space, or even just a relaxing spot to stream your favorite shows. Consider space-saving tricks, such as day beds, guest beds that fold against the wall, or drop-down tabletops. Screens or bookcases work to divide the area so you can maximize this dual-use room.

Family Room + Playroom

Whether you have kids in your home full-time or help out on the weekends, it can be a challenge finding places to store toys, games, and other accessories. A family room provides the ideal spot for central storage. Contain the clutter with built-ins, cabinets, or bookcases with pull-out baskets. Use rugs to divide the space and add seating with window seats or a kid-sized table and chairs. Designing with the same style and colors ensures a cohesive look while providing a fun place to lounge and play.

If you’re ready to reinvent your space, give Central Construction Group a call. We’re here to help you create a comprehensive plan within your budget. Call us at (317) 213-6246 or connect with us on Facebook or Instagram for a free, no-obligation

Aging in Place: Renovation Ideas to Improve Accessibility https://ccg-indy.com/2026/01/22/aging-in-place-renovation-ideas-to-improve-accessibility/ Thu, 22 Jan 2026 21:19:04 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3702 more »]]> As family members age, many homeowners face renovation decisions to support aging in place.

Renovating or remodeling key areas in a home improves accessibility for aging family members and helps them remain independent for as long as possible – whether they live in their own home or in a multigenerational household.

As more people realize the need for features that support independent aging, it’s not surprising that 73% of industry leaders say requests for aging-in-place features have increased during the last five years, according to the National Association of Home Builders. Another bonus? Thoughtful modifications improve your property value, too.

Consider these renovation ideas to create a functional space for aging family members.

Walk-In Shower

A curbless shower eliminates dangerous slips and falls. It also provides more space for necessary accessories like built-in shower seats or foldable benches, which seamlessly blend in with your bathroom design.

Install grab bars for safety and consider handheld shower heads for additional flexibility. Other bathroom renovation ideas included nonslip flooring, raised toilets with grab bars, and pull-out cabinet shelves for convenient storage.

Accessible Sinks

Install a floating vanity or accessible sink to make bathrooms and kitchens easy to use for those in wheelchairs. Typically, these are installed at a lower height. Other considerations include a shallow sink and an easy-to-use faucet, such as a touchless faucet, extended lever handles, or a hands-free pedal faucet.

Kitchen Improvements

Kitchen upgrades that improve accessibility also work to increase storage. Install pull-out shelves to easily locate appliances or dishes. Consider smart storage options like rotating or slide-out corner shelves to make the most of hard-to-reach places. Other kitchen considerations include installing appliances, such as microwaves, at a lower level.

Wider Doorways

Those using walkers and wheelchairs benefit from wider doorways and hallways. Homeowners may want to consider altering the layout if their home has stairways, narrow hallways, or sharp turns into rooms. Swapping out round doorknobs with a lever-style handle improves accessibility. Eliminate entryway steps or provide an alternate entry to promote safety when coming and going.

Upgrade Lighting

Upgrade lighting in every room to improve task lighting and increase safety. Undercabinet task lighting and additional wall or overhead lighting improves visibility. Those using wheelchairs may prefer light switches at a lower height. Consider replacing traditional light switches with easier-to-use rocker switches or motion sensor light switches that automatically turn on and off.

Smart Home Devices

Keep your loved ones safe with smart home devices that provide security and ease daily tasks. A security system ensures safety with cameras, smart locks, and remote monitoring. To help aging family members with limited mobility, smart thermostats, lighting, or motorized window shades automate home comforts. Voice-enabled appliances provide hands-free control over laundry and kitchen appliances, or smaller appliances like coffeemakers and televisions.

A Modern Refresh for a Meridian-Kessler Classic https://ccg-indy.com/2025/12/15/a-modern-refresh-for-a-meridian-kessler-classic/ Mon, 15 Dec 2025 21:15:33 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3667 more »]]> Photos by Adam Gibson Photography

A charming home in the historic Meridian-Kessler neighborhood recently underwent a comprehensive remodel, touching nearly every space. With Central Construction Group at the helm and Adam Gibson leading the design, the project balanced modern updates with respect for the home’s original character.

The project began with new electrical throughout, followed by refinishing the solid oak hardwood floors in the bathrooms, kitchen, and second floor. For the walls, the homeowners chose Sherwin-Williams 7011 Natural Choice, a soft, neutral shade described as “creamy yet cool,” to bring a cohesive feel to the interior.

A new space addition at the back of the home includes a dining room and extra bedroom, making the layout more flexible for everyday living. Outside, the exterior received a full makeover with new siding, doors, windows, and a deck designed for outdoor entertaining.

For the kitchen, the homeowners chose custom carpentry, honey bronze hardware, quartz countertops, and upgraded Miele appliances, blending function with elegance. They also added a pull-out drawer for their pet bowls.

In the primary bath, classic white subway tile sets the backdrop for a high-end Kohler Veil wall-mounted toilet, complete with integrated bidet and night light, sourced with help from the local Kohler Signature Store.

On the second floor, the homeowners created a serene experience with the addition of a soaking tub, marble tile, a heated towel rack, and refreshed cabinetry and finishes.

The result is a home that feels updated, welcoming, and more functional, adding an elevated take on a Meridian-Kessler classic. Take a look at the home prior to the remodel by Central Construction Group in the three “before” photos below.

Addition and Remodel Projects Add Space and Style https://ccg-indy.com/2025/06/30/addition-and-remodel-projects/ Mon, 30 Jun 2025 14:54:04 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3552 more »]]> You see it all the time on TV shows like “Love It or List It” — a family outgrowing their cherished home. But as host Hilary Farr shows time and time again, thoughtful updates can add space and function.

This was the case in a recent series of projects we completed for a family of six. Projects included:

  • Kitchen renovation
  • Bathroom/laundry room addition
  • Primary bedroom with bathroom addition
  • Detached garage addition

Kitchen Renovation with Hidden Pantry

This family loves to entertain and wanted a kitchen that would allow for more food preparation and gathering space. We bumped the kitchen out toward the front yard, slightly into the dining room for the pantry, and into the home office space to create the kitchen of their dreams.

Before

During

After

Kitchen selections:

  • Custom cabinetry with Sherwin-Williams Shoji White paint and Clear Walnut Sable Stain
  • Calacatta Prado Quartz countertops by MSI Surfaces
  • The Tile Shop Tribeca Gypsum White backsplash tiles

Standout features include an oversized island, pot filler, drywall-wrapped hood with sconces on each side, stone splash and shelf, wet bar with mini-fridge, and of course, the hidden pantry!

Bathroom/Laundry Room Addition

A little space was taken from one bedroom to add a hallway that leads to the bathroom/laundry room addition. This space includes an all new custom-tiled tub and shower, custom single bowl vanity painted Sherwin-Williams 6244 Naval, tiled floor, new fixtures, quartz countertops, and a laundry hookup with cabinetry.

Primary Bedroom and Bathroom

As part of the same addition, we added a primary bedroom with a bathroom. The bathroom includes an all new, custom-tiled shower, double custom vanity in hickory, tiled floor, new fixtures, and a quartz countertop.

Exterior Work

Of course, the additions and bumpouts required some exterior work. While we were at it, we added a detached garage to match.

Taking a Summer Vacation? Come Back to a Home Makeover! https://ccg-indy.com/2025/05/14/summer-vacation-renovation/ Wed, 14 May 2025 17:31:32 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3544 more »]]> While home projects are worth it, they tend to disrupt our day-to-day lives. From noise and dust to scheduled water and electricity shutoffs, the remodel experience is anything but relaxing.

But what if you could have an impactful renovation completed while you’re recharging on a summer vacation? Or even just schedule a week away during the loud, dusty part of a large remodel

You can! Read on for tips for scheduling work during a trip, quick projects to consider, and the best time to plan a trip during a large remodel.

Tips for Home Improvements During a Trip

If you’re going to schedule a construction crew to be in your home while you’re away, first and foremost, make sure it’s a reputable company you can trust. Ensure the company is properly licensed and insured, and has a good reputation backed by stellar reviews. Consider affiliations and accolades with organizations like the Better Business Bureau, the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and Angi.

Other tips include:

  • Communicate clearly and frequently: Leave detailed instructions and make sure your contractor knows how to reach you while you’re away. Schedule regular check-ins or video updates to stay informed on progress.
  • Secure valuables: Remove or lock up valuables, important documents, and fragile items.
  • Set expectations in writing: Confirm all project details, including timeline, budget, materials, and access permissions, in a written contract to help avoid confusion and miscommunication.
  • Prep the home for construction: Unplug electronics, move furniture, and cover floors or fixtures to protect them from dust or damage.
  • Give access wisely: Use a smart lock or assign a trusted neighbor to manage access. Avoid leaving spare keys in obvious places.
  • Notify neighbors: Let nearby neighbors know about the work so they can alert you if anything seems off.
  • Check your insurance: Verify that your homeowner’s insurance covers renovations and any potential accidents during construction.

Quick Projects to Schedule During Vacation

Want to come home to something brand new welcoming you? Consider one of the following projects:

Refinish the Floors

Refinishing hardwood floors typically takes around three to five days depending on the area size and condition of the existing floors. It’s recommended to be out of the house during the project, due to dust and fumes.

This project requires moving furniture and covering surfaces, so work with your contractor to ensure the house is fully prepped before heading to paradise.

Kitchen Upgrade

You can’t expect a full kitchen remodel to be completed in a week, but consider a refresh. Talk to your contractor about which projects are feasible during the time you’ll be away. A kitchen facelift could include projects like painting, replacing cabinet fronts, swapping out hardware, and installing a new backsplash.

Siding Replacement

For a makeover you can literally see as soon as you pull back into the driveway, consider new siding. A siding replacement project is loud, so why not wait it out from a peaceful location? Just confirm selections before you go.

Bathroom Update

Just like with the kitchen upgrade, there are smaller projects you can have done in the bathroom that make a big impact. Replacing a vanity, installing new tile, updating lighting, or swapping out fixtures can breathe new life into the space. These updates usually don’t require extensive plumbing work, making them easier to complete in your absence.

When to Vacation During a Large Remodel

It’s not realistic to be absent during a major renovation, especially in the phases that require a lot of your input. But if you want a break from the chaos, we recommend hitting the road during  the messiest mid-project phases.

The dusty drywall stage (typically 30-40% into a renovation) is ideal for a getaway. Another perfect window occurs during the rough-in work (after demolition is complete but before finishes begin) when plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians are running lines and preparing for inspections.

For shorter trips, consider leaving during countertop fabrication (after cabinets are installed but before countertops arrive) or during the waiting period between flooring installation and fixture placement. These strategic breaks allow you to escape the most disruptive phases while still being present for design choices at the beginning and finish selections at the end.

Communicate your planned absence well in advance with your contractor, who might be able to recommend a good window for a trip.

House Resolutions for the New Year: Big Impact Home Improvements https://ccg-indy.com/2025/01/14/house-resolutions-new-year/ Tue, 14 Jan 2025 21:23:15 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3494 more »]]> While we all have lofty visions when we first move into our homes — This basement has so much usable space! You could knock down this wall and make it an open concept! — those visions often move to the backburner once you settle in. But a new year brings new opportunities! If you’ve been dreaming of house improvements, make it your resolution to bring the vision to fruition in 2025. Here are some big impact home improvements worth tackling.

Adding a Bathroom

A new bathroom not only offers a good ROI (32%-35%, according to the Journal of Light Construction Cost vs. Value report), it also provides a return on happiness. A Remodeling Impact Report shows 82% of homeowners have a greater desire to be home after a bathroom addition, and 44% have an increased sense of enjoyment when they are home.

Dreaming of radiant floor heating, a walk-in shower, or a soaker tub? Gain inspiration from our bathroom projects showcase.

Closet Renovation

There’s just too much closet space, said no one, ever. Give yourself a closet that would make Carrie Bradshaw proud. The Remodeling Impact Report gives closet renovations a perfect joy score of 10, with 79% of respondents having a greater desire to be home since completing the project, and 61% having an increased sense of enjoyment while home.

A closet refresh can be as simple as adding an organization system to something as involved as a complete remodel with custom cabinetry, integrated lighting, and even a seating area.

New Front Door

Want to make a change that you notice as soon as you pull into the driveway? Increase curb appeal and energy efficiency with a new front door. It’s a relatively simple project with a big impact — up to a 188% ROI, according to the Journal of Light Construction report.

New front door options include steel doors for durability and security, fiberglass doors for low maintenance and energy efficiency, and classic wood doors for timeless charm. A steel door garners the greatest ROI.

Finishing the Basement

If you’re sitting on (literally) an unfinished basement, your home has so much untapped potential. Through a basement finishing project, you can add usable square footage to utilize as a playroom, additional bedroom, that second bathroom, and more.

The Remodeling Impact Report shows an 86% ROI and 9.7 joy score for converting a basement to livable space. Check out our project showcase for finished basement inspiration.

Adding a Home Office

In 2025, working at the dining room table is out, and cozy, organized home offices are in. Remote or hybrid work isn’t going anywhere, and if you haven’t upgraded your home to create a private workspace yet, then the time is now. Whether in the finished basement, a spare bedroom, or a converted nook, a home office can enhance productivity and work-life balance.

Consider built-in desks and shelves for organization, ergonomic furniture for comfort, and soundproofing to minimize distractions. Incorporate good lighting to boost focus.

Ready to make one of these projects a reality in 2025? Make your home resolutions come true with Central Construction Group. Contact us today to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation. Call 317-213-6246 or connect with us on Facebook or Instagram.

Winterizing Your Home: 5 Renovation Projects for Energy Efficiency  https://ccg-indy.com/2024/12/04/winterizing-home-renovation-projects/ Wed, 04 Dec 2024 22:03:27 +0000 https://ccg-indy.com/?p=3490 more »]]> If you notice a draft while decking the halls, it may be time to think about the energy efficiency of your home. Tackling a few winterization projects can reduce winter utility bills, and completing them in the off season saves money, too. So cozy up and plan some projects to keep Jack Frost from nipping at your nose and toes this winter.

1. Sealing and Insulation

According to EnergyStar, sealing air leaks and adding insulation can net up to 10% savings on your annual energy bills. Some projects to prevent air leaks are ideal for a DIYer, like putting plastic over windows or weatherstripping doors or windows. Others, like air sealing and adding insulation to the attic or crawl space, might be best to hire out. While these projects don’t add aesthetic value, they go a long way toward saving money and keeping warm.

2. Windows and Doors

If you’re seeing daylight through a door or condensation or frost on your windows, they’re due for an upgrade. The U.S. Department of Energy reports heat gain and heat loss through windows is responsible for 25% to 30% of residential heating and cooling energy use. Drafty doors exacerbate the issue. Looks for replacements that are Energy Star-certified

3. Solar Panels

Harness the power of the sun to save on your electric bills. While installing solar panels is a more expensive upgrade, you’ll realize savings year over year. Modern solar panel systems can significantly reduce or even eliminate your electricity costs, with many homeowners seeing a return on investment within seven to 10 years. There are also often federal, state, and local tax incentives for going solar.

4. Skylights

A strategically placed skylight not only floods your home with natural light, but also boosts your home’s heat retention. This allows you to turn down the heat and turn off the lights. Skylights qualify for tax credits, too. Look for Energy Star-certified skylights with built-in shades or glazing for the summer.

5. Kitchen and Bath Upgrades

If you plan to remodel your kitchen or bathroom in the near future, consider what energy-efficient swaps you can make to maximize the value and ROI. For example, an induction oven and range is up to three times more efficient than gas stoves and up to 10% more efficient than conventional smooth top electric ranges, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. They’re also safer, heat quicker, and release less air pollution. You can also opt for a more efficient refrigerator and dishwasher. Look for Energy Star stickers.

Add low-flow fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen to reduce water consumption. And if you’re replacing the flooring, it’s a good time to add floor insulation, which helps maintain consistent temperatures and reduces heat loss in these high-traffic areas.
