Central Construction Group Named “Best of Houzz 2022”

Kitchen Remodel

Named Best of Houzz Design 2022, Central Construction Group, Inc. (CCG) is Indianapolis’ premiere remodeling and construction professional.

Award-Winning Professionals

Houzz, a community guide, connects homeowners with design experts, contractors, renovation professionals, architects, and more. Houzz’s prestigious awards recognize only three percent of more than 2.7 million home-related pros, including CCG.

“We launched the Best of Houzz awards program over a decade ago to highlight the work of the most talented and customer-focused professionals in our industry,” says Liza Hausman, vice president of Industry Marketing at Houzz, in a recent press release.

“When homeowners come to Houzz to find professionals to complete their projects, the Best of Houzz badges offer a marker of credibility, supporting their decision to move forward,” Hausman adds. “We are extremely proud of this year’s winners, many of whom have won multiple times, and we’re pleased to give them this recognition and a platform on which to showcase their expertise.”

CCG, a two-time Houzz winner, proudly displays four badges on the Houzz website, along with 17 five-star reviews.

“Central Construction Group, Inc. did a wonderful job with our home remodel,” says one client’s review. “From day one, they were very professional and considerate of our budget… We chose to go with CCG because we loved the idea of having an interior designer walk us through every step of the process.”

Quality Work, Exceptional Design

A recent Broad Ripple kitchen renovation showcases CCG’s exceptional work. Design expert Adam Gibson made the client’s previously small and cramped kitchen come to life, creating a bright, airy space complete with a unique, vaulted barrel ceiling. CCG Interior Designer Stephanie Larmor assisted with final design and selections.

Demo began by removing all existing cabinetry, countertops, fixtures and flooring. Contractors opened a wall between the kitchen and dining room, framing in the new arched ceiling, along with two new windows, including one at the kitchen sink. New plumbing, electrical, HVAC and drywall were installed.

To create the barrel ceiling, experts used a grid pattern of walnut plywood, stained to match the custom, white maple cabinetry. The cabinetry, which featured full, overlay shaker-style doors, was painted with a walnut satin finish stain, accented by under cabinet lighting.

Other design elements included a Brizo Litze faucet and a Kraus undermount sink. Arctic white MSI quartz waterfall countertops, along with a new tile backsplash, tile floor and new paint, completed the airy design.
